Amazon Mushroom field - psylocibe cubensis

Autor: warmiboa - Fecha: 12 February 2011

Once again we have gathered with some friends and travelers in order to make a new quality test of the amazonian mushrooms.

This time it was at a community down the Momon river, this community had really large fields for kettle: a really nice view to appreciate, though it's a bit sad to know that the land was jungle and now its a "clean" grass field.

We did our job in honoring the land by playing with the cows for a while and afterwards researched with their shit. This time we had different results, one of our friend just had about 6, while others had over 16...

Our verdict would be: Listen to the mushrooms and they will tell you the right dose, but if you are experienced with the subject, eat over 10 of them.

I'm guessing that psylocibe cubensis, though found around all south America, has different amounts of psylocibin. It strength probably changes accordingly to the cow's diet, maybe even the weather.
