Rember Yahuarcani - Expo El Diluvio

- Self-taught artist born in Pebas - Loreto, belongs to the Uitoto - Aymen - near the border with Colombia.

"This exhibition shows the spiritual presence of this place, the Amazon, where the painter lives: in Pevas, where he learned to talk, eat, walk and paint as naturally. That is the reason of its originality, which is not afraid the mixtures, since its roots are so strong that the external inputs, rather than opaque, quite the contrary, make them grow.

Rember is a gifted painter of great creativity and technical capacity to tell their stories and leave you messages going from the narrative reply to the invention of fantastic characters, capable of transporting us to dream experiences or "ayahuasqueros."

Handles light in a ritual sense, where thin bright threads speak of an empirical knowledge of energy emanating from the plants, or natural phenomena characters, recreated in fine poetry and mounted on landscapes that have the color, odor, moisture and temperature Amazonian landscape (or what generates it in my memory.)
