Attention travelers! Rivers are still going down and ports are almost inoperative. Boats to Pucallpa and Yurimahuas are not leaving Masusa Port.

Almost all the ports in Iquitos are in the same situation: ENAPU, Henry, Pesquero, Gómez, Don José, among others, a total of 25 private and public ports.

But the water goes down every year, so why is this happening? Apparently, the Regional Government hasn't done any maintaining job for the last 3 years.

So, travelers, remember that during this season you will have this problems. You will never know when the boats leave, you will probably have to wait for some days, maybe weeks, and you will eventually get your feet muddy!
